A GUIDE TO LIMESTONE CITY. KINGSTON, ONTARIO
Located midway between Toronto- Montreal, the city of Kingston,
can prance if necessary, as it was named Canada’s first capital
Situated at the head of Saint Lawrence River, bordering the United
States, Kingston remains an important military defensive point…
…Where most structures remain original, given the fact that
properties were made of limestone in the early 1900’s
We took some time to stroll around its colourful streets…
Surrounded by postcard sceneries
…We also did some shopping on Princess Street.
Where we found many, many birds.
(Bonus points if you can count how many birds are in this photo)
Case in point, Lovebird Bridal Boutique
We also tried Canada’s finest chicken wings. We are serious
about those wings, they are good. Restaurant: KBC
Also recommended, Tommy’s diner, open late hours
How about Live Music? We saw the show of “Head of the Herd”
and “The Glorious Sons” at The Merchant Tap House
Behold Kingston’s “safe bet” The Toucan. Another bird
If you visit during April -November, Kingston Public Market is a must.
Operating since 1801, this market hide treasures and provides
a sense of community that is clearly reflected on its residents.
