Living in Queensland’s end of the Gold Coast

by yourewelcomeca

Hello all, we are back from a hiatus of a hiatus. We have been living abroad for a while now, and one of the most memorable periods of our trip has been living on the strip of beaches at the end of the Gold Coast: Kirra, Coolangatta, Rainbow Bay, Snapper Rocks and Tweed Heads, the latter located at the borderline of Queensland and New South Wales, Australia.

These shots summarize our stay, starting with one of my favourite places to walk to: The Point Danger Lookout, with views of Snapper rocks and Rainbow Bay

This is Kirra beach, next to Coolangatta. With both beaches steps aways from our residence this was our scenery every day

Going to the beach every day contributed to gain some of the local skills

And there was a lot of time to relax…

I bought a bucket hat, that Krystal didn’t like, mysteriously I haven’t seen it since this picture

During this period we caught up with good friends and met wonderful people

We also had the chance to visit Miami Marketta, a space created by local businesses with live music, fresh food and Art exhibitions

Time to fly away, stay tuned for our next adventure…
